- Face cards (Kings, Queens, and Jacks) are all worth 10 points.
- Number cards are worth their face value, meaning a 2 is worth 2 points, a 3 is worth 3 points, and so on up to 10.

2. Starting the Game: At the beginning of the round, all players and the dealer are dealt two cards each. The dealer typically has one card facing up (the 'upcard') and one facedown (the 'hole card').
